EndTrachoma has provided Portable Potable Water Trailers for use across various communities.

This trailer, branded with Rotary Districts of Australia, carries 1000 Litres of water, two basins for washing hands and faces, a mirror and and is built to cope with the dirt roads. It is despatched from various communities to support the influx of people at events such as Sorry Business where there facilities are not built for so many people.

The project was a joint venture between EndTrachoma, Prime Minister & Cabinet, and SA Health providing the trailers for Nganampa Health Council.

The cost back in 2018 was $18,000 each. Today they cost over $35,000 each, or if being made at the same place as the first 3 in Alice Springs - $58,000 each which is crazy.

We have three trailers roving around the NT providing support where needed for such events as Sorry Business. One of them is managed by MacDonnell Regional Council and Barkly Regional Council.
